Dalin WaldoOoOoOöOOÖoo is a Romani–Romanian and Iranian artist, based in Denmark - working across electronic music, sound performance, visual art, and instrument design. Xe combines personal history, humour, and feminist critique with experimental electronics, audiovisual composition, and cross-disciplinary research.

Waldo’s work spans from DIY instrument building and performance systems to photography, cinematography, and sound-based installation. In recent years, xe has focused on sound as a primary medium, creating concerts, compositions, and collaborative formats that explore cultural heritage, artificial intelligence and neurodivergence. Xir practice is shaped by shapeshifting — moving fluidly between theatre, electronic music, visual art, and education.

Among other projects, xe co-designed the ENNER synthesizer with Vlad Kreimer (SOMA Laboratory), founded the feminist sound collective Kollaboratoriet, and has curated the Copenhagen-based listening series Ambient & Te since 2017.

Waldo has exhibited and performed at institutions including SMK – Statens Museum for Kunst (DK), Museet for Samtidskunst Roskilde (DK), AROS (DK), Struer Art Sound Lab (DK), and at festivals and venues such as Tehran Contemporary Festival (DE), SPOR Festival (DK), HEAR ME! (CZ), Minu Festival (DK), and Mengi (IS). Xe has also presented work and held workshops in Yerevan (AM), Berlin (DE), and Reykjavik (IS).

Waldo studied electronic composition at The Royal Academy of Music (DK), as well as electrical engineering at Zealand Business College. Xe previously trained in photography and cinematography at Fatamorgana (DK) and Aarhus Fotografiske Skole (DK), and studied sonology at the Institute of Sonology in The Hague (NL).
